The Sound of Silence

When you think of a meditation class, what words come to mind? Go ahead; think of some words and ideas that would best describe your concept of a meditation class…(Insert Jeopardy music here).

Good, thanks for playing! Did your list include: laughter, jokes, good times, story telling, and plenty of high fives? If your list didn’t include these then you certainly haven’t been to a class at Lotus Pug! So what makes our classes different, other than the high fives? The laid-back approach and group interaction are the most notable and unique characteristics. Much more than 60 minutes of quiet time, our meditation classes feature themes containing shorter segment themes/topics of discussion and rely on group participation to get the most benefit from the time together. As an open and free flowing exchange of ideas and experiences we all have the opportunity to learn from each other just as we do in our daily lives, with one exception of course; during class you have an hour of peaceful time to relax your mind, discuss your thoughts, and refresh your body with pure positivity.
