How are you doing today? I hope you enjoyed last week’s topic and found an opportunity to navigate through familiar territory while noticing something new and beautiful about your environment. Much thanks to everyone that emailed me to share their experiences and stories!
Today we are going to discuss the idea of spending quality time with an important person. This person isn't just any person, in fact this person is probably the most important person in your life right now. This person has been with you through all of your ups & downs, through the brightest and darkest of moments, and knows you better than anyone else. This person has always had and will always have your best interest in mind. And this person, is YOU!
In short, this is a period of time to spend with Your Self to do something inspirational, interesting, relaxing (such as meditation), or learn something new about yourself you might not have noticed before. Not to be confused with an hour of surfing the web, TV/movies, or engaging in any activity that would distract from the design of this exercise. Just as last week's intention was to look outward to the world around us, this week we will focus our attention inwards and see what we uncover.
If it helps, you may choose to treat this fun little experiment as though you were reconnecting or rekindling an old friendship or perhaps introducing some new and interesting person into your life.
